The Random Hills (English for Arbitrary hills ) are a group of rugged hills on the Borchgrevink Coast of Victoria Land . They are bounded 15 miles north-northwest of Mount Melbourne to the west by the Campbell Glacier and to the east by the Tinker Glacier and Wood Bay .
The southern group of a 1966 to 1967 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named the group after the (seemingly) arbitrary arrangement of the hills.
