Raphael Sperrer (born August 20, 1965 in Kirchdorf an der Krems , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian rally driver .

Life

Raphael Sperrer has two children and lives in Kirchdorf an der Krems. Since he started rallying in 1987, he has celebrated six national championship titles (1988, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002) in the Austrian national rally championship. He is also managing director of the "Raphael blocker Rally Promotion", authorized representative of "blocker Motorsports GmbH" (car-tuning company), a founding member of the association " Ostarrîchi rally " and organizer of the "Ostarichi rally" (formerly Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen rally or . Castrol Rally). Since 2006 he has been driving the legendary " Dakar Rally ", but was never able to finish it up to this point (2006: engine damage; 2007: chassis damage).
