Beppo Harrach (born February 11, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian rally driver and lives in Bruck an der Leitha . Between 2006 and 2008, Harrach was hired by OMV as a development driver for natural gas rally vehicles. From 2010 to 2014 Harrach drove with his co-drivers Andreas Schindlbacher and Leopold Welsersheimb for the DiTech Racing Team founded in January 2010 .

In 2003 Harrach won the Austrian championship title in the near-series Gr N. In 2004 he was promoted to the overall ranking of the ÖRM and immediately became runner-up. In 2011 Harrach won his first overall title in the Austrian State Rally Championship and thus interrupted Raimund Baumschlager's supremacy after eight years .

In 1999 he started his career in an Audi 90 Quattro with a third place in the Wachau rally and a second place in the national three-city rally. The following year, Harrach was rookie of the year in the Austrian State Rally Championship and won the Austrian Rally Challenge . In 2001 he rose to the Austrian Gr.N rally championship with a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI (state rally championship for production cars = vehicles close to series production) and immediately became vice national champion. In 2002 he made his debut in the PWRC (Production World Rally Championship) with a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI and in his debut run in Corsica immediately finished in the points. In 2003 he switched to the JWRC Junior World Rally Championship with a Ford Puma S1600 and also managed to get into the points here at his premiere in Monte Carlo. In Austria he became Group N national champion in 2003 with a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI . In 2004 Harrach was promoted to the overall ranking of the Austrian rally championship and immediately achieved the title of vice national.

From 2006 to 2008, Harrach drove the Austrian State Rally Championship with a natural gas car. Harrach and his co-driver Andreas Schindlbacher wrote history with their victory in the Ostarrichi rally : it was the world's first victory in an international championship run with a natural gas-powered car. Earned with a seven year old Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI . In 2007 and 2008, Harrach won the environmental cup with his natural gas car.

In autumn 2009 Harrach met the entrepreneur Damian Izdebski. Just three months later, the two founded the DiTech Racing Team and entered the Austrian State Rally Championship in the 2010 season .

From 2010 to 2014, Harrach and Schindlbacher drove for the DiTech Racing Team and, in the premiere year, they finished fourth in the Austrian State Rally Championship 2010 .

In 2011 the DiTech Racing Team drove five victories in a row at the January rally , the Lavanttal rally , the Bosch Super plus rally in Pinggau. the Castrol Judenburg-Pölstal Rallye 2011 and the Škoda Rallye Maribor . He did not reach the finish line of the Schneebergland Rallye due to a technical problem. Finally, a second place at the ARBÖ Rallye Styria was enough for him to win the title early. When the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge counting Mecsek Rally 2011 took Harrach tenth overall.

In 2012, Harrach / Schindlbacher won the Arpadtetö Rallysprint and the Admont Rallye 2 overall rally classifications and at the end of the year were crowned vice rally champion in Austria. At the January rally in Freistadt Upper Austria, which is part of the European championship , Harrach won the production car class in 2012 and placed third in the overall standings.

Due to a serious injury after a recreational accident, Harrach was only able to start half the season in 2013. Nevertheless, he was able to win 3 overall rankings at rally events with the Lavanttal Rallye, the Arpadtetö Rallyesprint and the Santa Domenica Rallyeshow and at the end of the year he took 3rd place in the Austrian State Rally Championship. At the January rally , which was again part of the European Championship in 2013 , he again won the production car class.

Harrach had his last appearance so far at an internationally endowed event in 2014 at the January rally, which is also part of the European Championship this year . Here he finished 5th in the overall standings and won the production car class with great success. He managed several top 3 special stage times. Since he succeeded in this with a now 9 year old production car against the thoroughbred S2000 racing cars, he astonished the international professional world and was honored by the organizers with the "Colin McRae Flatout Trophy".

At other starts at the Santa Domenica Rally Show in Croatia, Harrach won the overall ranking in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and is therefore the record winner at this event.
