Raros
Raros ( Greek Ρ̓ᾶρος ) is the son of Kranaos in Greek mythology . Together with a daughter of Amphictyon , a legendary Attic king, he is the father of Triptolemus , the hero of the Mysteries of Eleusis .
In the Suda , the Byzantine lexicon, Raros is the father of Keleos and the grandfather of Triptolemos.
The Rarion or Rarion pedion is named after him, a plain near Eleusis on which the first grain and the holy seeds of Demeter were sown.
