The Rata ( Ukrainian : Рата) is a left tributary of the Bug in Ukraine .
geography
The approximately 76 km long river has its source in the village of Verkhrata (Gmina Horyniec-Zdrój ) in Roztocze in the Polish Subcarpathian Voivodeship , crosses the border to Ukraine behind Prusie, then flows eastwards, first past the small town of Rawa-Ruska , later through the small town of Velyki Mosty , turns there to the northeast and finally flows into the Bug south of Tscherwonohrad . The catchment area is given as 1760 km².
