history

The construction was completed in 1662. It replaced the previous town hall building, which was destroyed in a city fire on March 10, 1660. The reconstruction began in the year of the city fire. The town hall tower is said to have been built only when it was rebuilt after the town fire.

Coat of arms stone

Above the entrance in the town hall tower there is a coat of arms stone with an inscription that reports on the fire and reconstruction.
