Ratko Cvetnić
Ratko Cvetnić (* 1957 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian author and secretary of the Croatian Badminton Association.
Kratki izlet - zapisi iz domovinskog rata is his only literary work. It is an essayistic war diary that he wrote from August 1992 to July 1993. At that time he was at the front in Dubrovnik . The work was published in 1997 by Ceres Verlag. It is about his experiences at the front, childhood memories and funny anecdotes from his comrades. However, it is also a testimony to his disappointment with the war . In Croatia it is a widely recognized documentary work. It has been published as a German translation: A short excursion - Notes from the war in Croatia by Marko Žarić.
