from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bremen Ratsdenkelbuch is a medieval official book . Established in 1395 at the suggestion of Councilor Hinrich von der Trupe with the support of Councilor and Mayor Friedrich von Walle , it ends in 1519.

content

The Ratsdenkelbuch contains, among other things, entries on invoices, the income register, bonds, contracts, vows and chronological records of the Bremen Council . The messages about the construction of the Bremen town hall are valuable . Significant are the entries on Bremen city law ; a copy of 147 ordinances and statutes from 1450 are preserved in an article entitled De olde kundich breff . "Or Rulle" was added to this heading later. This article is the oldest surviving wording of the Kundige Rolle , in Low German "Kundige Rulle". This is only preserved as a separate document in the version begun in 1489. or "Knowledgeable role".

A temporal or factual order is not always visible in the Ratsdenkelbuch. There was also a tendency to work on the Ratsdenkelbuch, in particular by Mayor Johann Hemeling (around 1358–1428) on the imperial freedom of Bremen.

The thinking book

The Denkelbuch  - also known as the Denkbuch - of Mayor Daniel von Büren the Elder as a chronicle of Bremen's events, memorabilia and customs. The records from 1490 to 1525 have been preserved; however, the original work presumably covered a longer period.
