The robbery count box is a wooden chamber in which prisoners of distinguished origin were held.

Quedlinburger box

In the castle museum (Quedlinburg) there is a robber's chest on display. Count Albrecht II von Regenstein is said to have been imprisoned in it by the Quedlinburg citizens in 1337 . However, this is not supported by written sources. What is certain, however, is that Albrecht II took part in a meeting of the nobility in Quedlinburg as a free man in the spring of 1338 .

Even if the use of the Quedlinburg Raubgrafenkasten for Albrecht II von Regenstein is not certain, the use of these boxes in other places at this time is considered to be proven.
