Raúl Alarcón García (born March 25, 1986 in Sax ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Athletic career

Raúl Alarcón was runner-up in the 2004 junior road race at the Spanish road cycling championship in Don Benito . Two years later he won two stages in the Vuelta a Cantabria . In the following years he mainly competed in races on the Iberian Peninsula . In 2017 he had the greatest success of his career to date when he won the Volta a Portugal after winning two stages of this tour. He repeated this success in 2018 and also won three stages.
