Rauschangriff is a German punk band from Munich . Rauschangriff sees itself as a socially critical band. Her texts primarily deal with the issues of social grievances and politics ( fascism , neo-Nazis ), everyday work insanity ( burnout , unreflective use of Anglicisms ), but also alcohol consumption and football.

history

Rauschangriff was founded in 1996 as a pure studio band, but soon after the first release the band decided to perform live. Since the band members were all over 40 years old when they were founded, work and family led to many changes in the line-up. Live performances followed throughout Germany as well as in the Czech Republic and Croatia .

In 2004 the band met Michael Biggs, the son of Ronald Biggs , and released a benefit EP in favor of the seriously ill mail robber ( Free Ronnie Biggs ).

The band split up in the summer of 2008 and the re-establishment in January 2014. The current line-up is: Küken (drums, vocals), OS (bass, vocals), Machtkrampf (guitar, vocals). From January 2017, Henne joined them as a singer.

Since December 2014 the band has also been involved in the Advent singing of the Friends of the Sechzger Stadium in the Grünwalder Stadium in Munich-Giesing.
