The river has its source in the Quarter Laborie, just 500 m from the border with the Quarter Vieux Fort , in the valley in which the Catholic Church of St. Francis Xavier in Augier is located, and runs south. It flows into the Atlantic in Black Bay between Laborie and Vieux Fort . In the last few meters of its course, it enters and exits the Quarter Vieux Fort again.
