Vieux Fort is a quarter (district) in the south of the small island state of St. Lucia . The quarter has 16,329 inhabitants (2001 census). The main town of the quarter is the seaside community of Vieux Fort with the Ravine Rozette . The Maria Islands also belong to the Quarter.
Maria Islands
The Maria Islands are two islands located on the southwest coast of Vieux Forts. The unspoiled nature is preserved on the islands, as they are not populated as a nature reserve.
