Raymond Emil Goedert
Raymond Emil Goedert (born October 15, 1927 in Oak Park ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Chicago .
Life
The Archbishop of Chicago , Samuel Alphonsius Cardinal Stritch , ordained him a priest on May 1, 1952 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Chicago and titular bishop of Tamazeni on July 8, 1991 . The Archbishop of Chicago Joseph Louis Cardinal Bernardin donated him episcopal ordination on August 29 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops Alfred Leo Abramowicz and John Robert Gorman from Chicago.
On January 24, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
