Raymond Alan "Ray" Harrison (born August 4, 1929 in London , † 2000 ) was a British sword fencer .
successes
Raymond Harrison won bronze in the team competition of the World Championships in Paris in 1957 . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1952 in Helsinki he was eliminated in the team competition in the second round. At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome , however, he moved unbeaten with the British team to the final, in which Italy prevailed 9-5. Together with Michael Alexander , Bill Hoskyns , Michael Howard , Allan Jay and John Pelling he received the silver medal. In 1955 he was British champion in epee singles.
