Tim Mullen
Tim Mullen (born March 28, 1976 in Portadown ) is a retired British racing car driver .
Racing career
Tim Mullen began his career in the British single-seater sport . He was a successful young driver and won the British and Irish Formula Ford championships in 1995 . This was followed by winning the Formula Vauxhall Junior in 1996 . After racing in Formula Renault and Formula Palmer Audi , he turned to GT and sports car racing in 2000 .
By the end of his racing career, he had contested 110 races, of which he was able to win nine. His first overall victory was the 2006 Donington 2-hour race , a race in the British GT Championship . Teammate in the Ferrari F430 was Chris Niarchos . Together with Niarchos, he won the overall ranking of this championship at the end of the year .
Tim Mullen drove in the FIA GT Championship , competed several times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and was registered in the races of the European Le Mans Series in the 2010s . He achieved his last success in 2012 when he won the overall classification of the 24 Hours of Barcelona .
