Real de Colima
Real de Colima is a former Mexican football club from Colima , the capital of the state of Colima of the same name .
history
In spring 2005 the Grupo Pegaso converted the branch team Atlante Naucalpan of the CF Atlante playing in the third class Segunda División to Pegaso Anáhuac . The newly formed team won the championship of the Segunda División in the Clausura 2006 (second half of the 2005/06 season) and thus secured promotion to the second-rate Primera División 'A' , where they were given the new name in their first season in 2006/07 Pegaso Real de Colima competed. In the second half of the same season (Clausura 2007), the climber reached the semi-finals of the play-off championship finals and was only barely defeated 0-0 and 0-1 against eventual tournament winner Dorados de Sinaloa .
Before the coming 2007/08 season, the name "Pegaso" was dropped and the club played from then on as "Real de Colima". At the same time, a sporty decline began, which reached its low point with the last group place in the Clausura 2009 (second half of the 2008/09 season). It was also the club's last appearance in the second division , which was converted into the Liga de Ascenso with a new concept before the 2009/10 season , in which Real de Colima was no longer represented.
