The Realschule Schöllnach is a state general education school in Markt Schöllnach in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf .

profile

The Realschule attended 709 students in the 2018/19 school year. It has the motto "Prepare for life with heart and mind". The profile includes technical, social, musical, economic and linguistic focuses. In addition, it offers the elective subject groups I (technical and natural science), II (commercial and economic), IIIa (foreign-language French) and IIIb (musical and artistic) in all grades 7 to 10.

Digital school

The school has received several awards for its initiatives in the field of school digitization.

In 2016, the Bavarian Education Pact Foundation selected the secondary school from among 350 Bavarian secondary schools with the secondary school on the Europakanal in order to try out new teaching methods and examples in the digital school 2020 pilot.

In November 2018, the MINT Creating Future Germany initiative awarded the “Digital School” seal to the Schöllnach Realschule.

From 2015 to 2017 the school was an experimental school for the “Teaching through video tutorials” project run by the Bavarian Education Pact Foundation.
