Rebe & Wein is a specialist magazine for viticulture and wine industry and the organ of the winegrowing associations in Württemberg and Franconia.
Target group and content
The magazine is aimed at winemakers and cellar masters and thus at the decision-makers in the companies.
In terms of content, the editorial team relies on practical specialist articles that a. deal with the topics of viticulture, cellar management, corporate management and marketing. The technical part is also supplemented by the latest news from the industry.
history
In November 1947 the winegrowing association was named "Weinbauverein Württemberg-Baden eV" u. a. founded by Hermann Schneider and brought into being the monthly association organ "Vine and Wine" in the following year. It appears for the first time in October 1948 in self-publishing with a length of twelve pages and contains u. a. Article about the founding meeting of the association, the year 1947 and 80 years of the teaching and research institute for viticulture and fruit growing in Weinsberg . Oskar Raab is the first editor . At the end of 1956, the winegrowing association handed over the paper to the self-publisher W. Röck Weinsberg (later the Jahrbuch-Verlag), which also bears the entrepreneurial risk from the following year onwards, “for organizational reasons”. In 1960, Rebe und Wein was supplemented by a Franconian edition with notices from the Bavarian State Institute for Wine, Fruit Growing and Horticulture , based in Veitshöchheim . In 1973 there was a subtle renaming from Rebe und Wein to Rebe & Wein , in 2001 the annual numbering of the pages was given up and replaced by magazine-oriented page numbers. At the turn of the year 2004/05 the monthly changed again and has been published since then by Verlag Eugen Ulmer , where the last decision was made to refresh the layout in 2015.

The magazine is currently published monthly. The IVW -checked sold edition is 4476 copies.
