Rebecca Kirchbaumer

Rebecca Kirchbaumer (born August 25, 1974 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). She has been a member of the National Council since November 9, 2017 .

Life

After elementary and secondary school, Rebecca Kirchbaumer attended a commercial middle school and learned the profession of office clerk and men's clothing maker. She has been working as an independent petrol station operator since 2004, and has been running a service station for motor vehicles since 2005.

politics

Since 2010 she has been chairwoman of the specialist group for garage, petrol station and service station companies in the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce , and since 2014 she has been the district chairwoman of women in business for Innsbruck Stand / Land. Since 2015 she has been a member of the economic parliament of the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, and since 2016 she has acted as the division chairman for the transport and traffic division. Since 2016, she has also been a member of the municipality board of the municipality of Polling in Tyrol , where she is the ÖVP municipality party chairman.

In the 2017 National Council election , she ran in the Innsbruck-Land regional constituency , and on November 9, 2017 she was sworn in for the first time as a member of the Austrian National Council . In the 2019 National Council election, she is running for second place in the list behind Hermann Gahr in the Innsbruck-Land regional constituency. In November 2019 she succeeded Gottfried Strobl as spokeswoman for the Transport and Traffic division in the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce.
