Rebun ( Japanese 礼 文 島 , Rebun-tō ) is a small Japanese island in the Sea of ​​Japan off the northwest tip of Hokkaidō .

The 81.25 km² island is known for its alpine flora and the 8-hour hiking trail ( hachi-jikan haiking kurusu ), which runs from one end of the island to the other in a north-south direction. The island is part of the Rishiri Rebun Sarobetsu National Park .

There is a ferry connection to Rishiri Island , Wakkanai , and Otaru via Rishiri. From the airport with the IATA airport code RBJ there are flights to Wakkanai.
