Reckerstal is a hamlet in the Igersheim district of Harthausen in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1398, when a part with Neubronn came to the Teutonic Order . The place name was probably derived from reckholder (= juniper). A remaining part of the place belonged to the Teutonic Order since 1442. In 1887 a neo-Romanesque rosary chapel was built.

The living space came to the Igersheim community on January 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent Harthausen community.
