The Red Dike Bluff ( English for Roter-Deich-Klippe ) is a distinctive rock cliff on the Hillary Coast in the south of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It looms south of the Trepidation Glacier on the eastern flank of the Skelton Glacier .
The New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) carried out measurements and descriptive naming in 1957 . It is named after the reddish rock that makes up the dike-like cliff.
