The trepidation glacier (from English trepdidation , 'trepidation, fear' ) is a small glacier on the Hillary coast in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows into the eastern flank of the Skelton Glacier between Moraine Bluff and Red Dike Bluff .

The New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) carried out measurements and naming in 1957. It was named after the circumstances under which an airplane attempted to land on the jagged ice surface at the foot of the glacier during this research trip.
