Red Sparowes is a post-rock band from Los Angeles based around bands like Isis and Neurosis . Their music consists mainly of long, purely instrumental songs. What is special about them is their intensive use of pedal steel .
The band consists of members from Isis , Neurosis , Halifax Pier, Samsara, Angel Hair and Pleasure Forever. After the release of their 2006 album Every Red Heart Shines Towards the Red Sun , the band embarked on a European tour in early summer 2007.
