Reece Ritchie

Reece Ritchie (born July 23, 1986 in Lowestoft , Suffolk ) is a British actor .

Life

Reece Ritchie was born the second of three children to a father from Durban , South Africa and a British mother. His sister Ria Ritchie (* 1987), who is one year younger than him, is now a contemporary R&B singer.

Ritchie was educated at Benjamin Britten High School in his hometown of Lowestoft. He then gained his first acting experience at the National Youth Theater in London .

His first film role was in 2007 when he played the young Ali Hasan al-Madschid in the television film Saddam's Tribe . The breakthrough came just a year later, in 2008, when he was seen in a minor supporting role in Roland Emmerich's 10,000 BC . Ritchie was last seen in Hercules as Iolaos in 2014 .
