Reflexion is a Finnish dark rock band from Oulu .
history
The band was founded in 1996 under the name BarbarianZ . In 1997 Juha Kylmänen ( For My Pain… ) joined the band as a singer. In the same year the band released their first demo called Blackness and Moonlight , which was to be followed by several more. In 2000 the band changed their name in reflection.
During the recordings for the demo Journey to Tragedy 2003, the A1 Music label became aware of them. In 2005 they got a record deal there. In the meantime, Antti Pikkarainen and Petteri Lethola left in 2004. Mikko Uusimaa joined the band as a replacement for Petteri and Marco Sneck helped out on the keyboard as a session musician. In March 15, 2006, the debut album Out of the Dark was released .
On January 14, 2008, the title Weak and Tired was released as a download single, followed on February 23, 2008 with the CD single Twilight Child, the second release of the second album Dead to the Past, Blind for , which was released on March 19, 2008 Tomorrow . The mastering of the album was done by Svante Forsbäck (including Apocalyptica , Sunrise Avenue ), Marco Sneck helped out again on the keyboards, this time with the support of Johannes Kastanja. Aksu Hanttu is the producer of the album.
