The Reformed Church in Savognin in Surses is a Protestant - Reformed church under protection of the canton of Grisons .
History and equipment
The modern sacred building from the eighties of the 20th century as a building of the Reformed diaspora in the middle of the until then purely Catholic area is located in Veia Davos-Tga in the upper part of the village. The building, designed as a church center, houses the church interior as well as other rooms for meetings and cultural events. The church center was inaugurated on August 28, 1988.
The church interior is dominated by a central communion table , above which a fictional figure by Erica Pedretti hovers, reminding the congregation as a wandering people of God both of the tabernacle of the Israelites and of God's angels and their protective guide.
Church organization
The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden leads Savognin, whose pastoral office is in Bivio, pastorates the whole Sursès and is officially called Bivio-Sursès , within the Colloquium VII Engiadin'Ota-Bregaglia-Poschiavo-Sursès .
