Process control electronics technician
Process control electronics technician was a state-recognized training occupation from 1992 to 2007 . He corresponds roughly to the earlier measurement and control mechanic. As part of the reorganization of the training occupations, this industrial electrical occupation was replaced by training as an electronics technician for automation technology .
The training was concluded after three and a half years with a theoretical and practical examination at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry . This vocational training was recognized by ordinance of April 2, 1992 and replaced by other industrial electrical trades on July 3, 2003.
The process control electronics technician was responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial , automated production systems. It ensured the function of actuators , sensors and the control or regulation between the former.
