A control valve , more precisely control -way valve is a proportional valve which, in its type having a proportional directional control valve is similar, but with a linear flow rate - characteristic and null overlap the valve control edges . The valve is therefore particularly suitable for hydraulic control tasks ( pressure , force , torque control , position control ).
