The Regesesee is a natural body of water in the area of ​​the city of Biesenthal in the Brandenburg district of Barnim . It is part of the Biesenthaler Becken nature reserve . The lake is located about 1100 meters from the city center in a south-westerly direction in a wetland north of the Pigs Bay Mountains , about 300 meters south of Lanker Straße .

The Regesesee is located in the NSG Biesenthaler basin . It has an area of ​​3.2 hectares and is surrounded by an extensive silting zone. A wide belt of reeds lines the bank area . The lake is considered to be the origin of the Finow River , which flows off on the east side as the Finow River to the northeast. The tributaries of the Regesesees are the Rüdnitzer Fließ coming from the south and the Hellmühler Fliess , which flows out on the southwest side , an outflow of the Hellsee .
