Reginsmál
Reginsmál ( Old Norse for "Reginns Rede (n)"), also outdated as Sigurðarkviða Fáfnisbanna önnur , is a hero song from the Liederedda in the Codex Regius . The Reginsmál is named after the dwarf Reginn , the foster father of the hero Sigurðr.
The song is introduced by a short prose section and develops into 26 stanzas in Eddic meter of Ljóðaháttr interrupted by short prose insertions. The Reginsmál forms with the Fáfnismál and the Sigrdrífomál a separate group of the Sigurðr poetry within the Liederedda.
