Regionstog was a Danish railway company . It was founded on January 1st, 2009. The task of the company was to transport passengers by train on around 200 kilometers of railway lines, which were spread over four routes in the Sjælland region.
When it was founded, Regionstog A / S comprised the independent railway companies Vestsjællands Lokalbaner A / S, Lollandsbanen A / S and Østbanen . 240 employees (as of September 2014) transport around 3.6 million passengers annually on 29 trains (13 IC2 and 16 LINT ).
On July 1, 2015, Regionstog and Lokalbanen merged to form the new company Lokaltog , which comprises all former private railways on Zealand and Lolland.

The routes were operated:
- Lollandsbanen : Nykøbing F – Nakskov , 50.2 kilometers long, approx. 980,000 passengers.
- Østbanen : Køge – Faxe Ladeplads and Køge – Rødvig , 49.6 kilometers long, approx. 1.0 million passengers.
- Tølløsebanen : (Holbæk) –Tølløse – Slagelse , 50.8 kilometers long, approx. 420,000 passengers.
- Odsherredsbanen : Holbæk – Nykøbing Sj , 49.4 kilometers long, approx. 1.1 million passengers.
Train operations on Lollandsbanen are controlled from Maribo , Odsherredsbanen and Tølløsebanen are headquartered in Holbæk and operations on Østbanen are controlled from Hillerød . The company's administration was located in Maribo and Holbæk.
