The Regnitz cycle path is a river cycle path in Franconia and runs between Nuremberg and Bamberg , extends over the areas of the city region of Nuremberg, Franconian Switzerland , Steigerwald and Haßberge and is characterized by the courses of the Regnitz and Pegnitz rivers and the course of the Main-Danube Canal . There are two possible ways of using the cycle path. The valley route extends over a length of 85 km, the canal route has a length of 75 km.
