Reichsdirektorium

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Reich Directorate or Reichstag Board are electoral officials of the archbishop of Mainz referred that the meetings of the Reichstag in the Holy Roman Empire initiated (until 1806).

The board of directors is often referred to as a kind of "presidency", so Kurmainz can be seen as the predecessor of the current Federal Council president . "It has already been reported that Chur-Maynz leads the general Reichs-Directory at the Reichs-Conventen; and this all on its own", especially since the Mainz Directory regulates the official correspondence, including the opinions of the votes in the Reichstag, and also the Powers of attorney granted by representatives of the imperial estates.
