The Reid Glacier is a steep glacier in Queen Marie Land, East Antarctica . It flows between the Melba and Davis Peninsula to the Shackleton Ice Shelf .
He was discovered by the team at the West Base during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . He is named after George Reid (1845–1918), the first Australian high commissioner in the United Kingdom .
