Pure Anderl

Reiner Anderl (born June 24, 1955 ) is a German mechanical engineer and professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt .

Life

Reiner Anderl received his doctorate in 1984 from the TH Karlsruhe and then worked as an engineer for plant construction in the free industry. In 1991 he completed his habilitation in Karlsruhe. Since 1993 he has been professor for data processing in construction (DiK) in the mechanical engineering department and head of the “data processing in construction” department at TU Darmstadt. From 1999 to 2001 he was Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, from 2005 to 2010 Vice President of the TU Darmstadt. Anderl has been President of the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz since 2017 .
