Pure Pogarell

Reiner Karl Pogarell (born September 21, 1951 in Meschede ) is a linguist and head of the Institute for Business Linguistics in Paderborn .

Life

Pogarell completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale merchant and then studied linguistics , education and Protestant theology at the University of Paderborn . In 1985 he received his doctorate on the subject of "The Visual Power of Silesian". From 1986 he began developing company linguistics, which makes linguistic knowledge usable for company tasks. Since 1992 he has headed the "Institute for Business Linguistics", which was founded shortly before. In this capacity, he advises employees and executives of industrial and service companies on communicative and linguistic issues.

Partly together with the German Language Association, it certifies the language presence of companies or parts of companies. He publishes regularly in the "Sprachnachrichten" and other publications.

Pogarell is a member of the German Language Association and has held various offices there. He is a board member, Scandinavia representative and gives lectures on the German language across Europe. In addition, he is part-time managing director of the VDS-related "IFB Verlag Deutsche Sprache". In the Protestant parish of Paderborn he is a member of the sermon preparation group.
