Ute Lauterbach

Ute Lauterbach (born July 19, 1955 in Rüdesheim ) is a German non-fiction author.

Life

Ute Lauterbach grew up in Jülich and graduated from high school there in 1974. From 1974 to 1980 she studied philosophy and English in Freiburg and Münster; There she passed her first state examination in 1980 and the second state examination in Bonn in 1982. In the following years she worked as a school teacher for philosophy and English active and in 1988 she founded in Altenkirchen an Institute for Counseling . Here she offers a seminar and lecture program as well as life counseling for people and coaching for companies. She has since published several books on happiness and has occasionally appeared on various television programs.

Life's work

In 2019 Ute Lauterbach published, together with the book of the same name, her non-profit project and life's work "Instant Lumen - a philosophical start to a free head". The subject of the project are the evaluations of thousands of quotes from the most important scientists, poets and thinkers that the philosopher has seen in the course of her life. Lauterbach discovered that all cross-cultural in their essence describe the same state of consciousness of complete clarity and mindfulness. She defines this moment of recognition as "instant lumen" (Latin instans = immediately, Latin lumen = light), derived from the philosophical concept of lumen naturale .
