Reinhard Meis

Reinhard Meis (born February 9, 1940 in Koppelow ) is a German watchmaker and non-fiction author about historical clocks .

Life

Meis is a trained watchmaker, state-certified precision technician and designer. As a product developer, he shaped selected watches within the LMH Group ( Les Manufactures Horlogères ), to which International Watch Company , Jaeger-LeCoultre and A. Lange & Sons belonged. The development of the product design and the construction characteristics of the so-called “new Lange watches” was largely in his hands and those of his team.
