Reinhard Pisec (born March 4, 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and managing director. He has been a member of the Austrian Federal Council since 2010 .

education and profession

Reinhard Pisec attended the Protestant elementary school in Vienna between 1967 and 1971 and then moved to a federal high school in Vienna from 1971 to 1979. He then served as a militia officer in the Austrian Armed Forces from 1979 to 1980 and then began studying business administration at the Vienna University of Economics in 1980 . In 1985 he completed his studies with the academic degree Mag. Rer. soc. oec. from. Pisec has been the managing director of R. Pisec Zellstoff GmbH since 1992. He is also the managing director of the Sonnblick property utilization and administration company.

In addition to his job, Pisec completed an apprenticeship as an Austrian stock exchange trader and an apprenticeship as a South African stock exchange trader in 2005 and began a bachelor's degree in history at the University of Vienna in 2008 , which he successfully completed in 2012. Since 2012 he has been pursuing a master's degree in history at the University of Vienna.

Politics and functions

Pisec has been a delegate to the economic parliament of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce since 2010 and a delegate to the economic parliament of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) since 2015 . He is also an elected member of the Vienna State Committee for Foreign Trade and has been a member of the Federal Committee for Foreign Trade since 2015. Since 2014 he has been a board member of the Association of Austrian Industries. Since 2015 he has been Deputy Head of the Industry Division of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce.

Since November 25, 2010 he has represented the FPÖ in the Federal Council. He is Secretary of the Science and Research Committee and Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is also a member of the economic committee.

Pisec has been the FPÖ's industry spokesman since 2014.
