Reinhard Wodick

Reinhard Edmund Wodick (born July 6, 1936 in Großhansdorf near Hamburg ) is a German sports physician and physiologist .

After graduating from the Stormarn School in Ahrensburg , he studied at the University of Marburg , where he received his doctorate in 1968 (Dr. rer. Nat.) And 1971 (Dr. med.). His specialty was the photometric determination methods in physiology. For many years he was a professor at the University of Ulm and headed the sports medicine laboratory there. His work also included doping controls in particular . In addition, he is committed to the protection of non-smokers .
