Reinhard Wolf (born January 17, 1960 in Hollabrunn ) is an Austrian manager who has been CEO and General Director of RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG since March 2013 .

Life

Reinhard Wolf comes from a farming family in Weinviertel . After attending the Catholic De la Salle high school in Vienna-Strebersdorf , he studied agricultural economics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna .

Professional background

Wolf started his professional career in 1985 at the Austrian Goods Center (ÖRWZ). During his ten-year activity, he completed several trainee stays abroad and most recently held a management position in the field of commercial fertilizers. When the ÖRWZ was integrated into the RWA in 1993, Wolf switched to the newly founded wholesale and service company of the Austrian warehouse cooperatives.

Wolf took on various management functions at RWA, including managing director of Fert-Import and Genol. In May 2009 he was appointed director of the RWA board, responsible for agriculture and energy.

Wolf has held the position of General Director since March 2013. In addition to expanding activities in RWA's core segments, he is also developing subsidiaries in Central and Southeastern Europe.
