Reinhart Meyer calcus

Reinhart Meyer-Kalkus (* 1949 ) is a German specialist in German . Meyer-Kalkus is an adjunct professor at the University of Potsdam and also at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin . He is known for his publications on the phenomenon of the voice and the art of speaking in the 20th century.

Meyer-Kalkus received his doctorate in 1986 with a thesis on "Lust and Cruelty. Affect representation and affect theory in Lohenstein's 'Agrippina' ”at the University of Göttingen . He completed his habilitation in 1996 at the University of Potsdam with a thesis on "Voice and speaking skills in the 20th century". In addition to German studies, German-French academic relations are also one of Meyer-Kalkus' areas of work.

Meyer-Kalkus is an adjunct professor for modern German literary studies at the University of Potsdam and oversees the Fellow Forum at the Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin.
