Reinhold Reppin

Reinhold Reppin (born January 23, 1879 ; † April 23, 1945 in Berlin ) was a German architect and mainly worked as a civil servant in the Berlin-Reinickendorf municipal building administration . Together with his colleague Hans Krecke, he shaped the architecture of the municipal housing there.

Live and act

Fritz Walter Reinhold Reppin, born in 1873, married Selma Müller on April 27, 1900 in Berlin-Tegel . One year later he was mentioned in the address book as a construction technician in the Reinickendorf community. The Reppin family lived at Residenzstrasse 84 (from 1902 No. 31), the seat of the oldest Berlin ice works L. Thater. In 1901, 1902 and 1903 the children Egon Reinhold Conrad, son Werner Theobald Erich and Hertha were born one after the other. From 1904 Reppin was the site manager of the Reinickendorf community and lived in Hauptstrasse 11. In 1906 the family moved to Walderseestrasse 2. A year later Reppin was appointed municipal master builder in Reinickendorf, and in 1925 he was given the title of senior building officer. Reppin retired in 1935 and died in 1937.
