The Reisetbauer Quality Brand GmbH is an Austrian distillery of brandies . The company headquarters is in Axberg am Kirchdorfergut.
history
The company is managed by Hans Reisebauer. In 1990, Reisebauer began with the first 1.5 hectare apple orchard on Kirchdorfergut, and a year later the first ten Williams Christ pear trees were planted. In the spring of 1994, Reisebauer got to know the distillates of the Quinta Essentia distillers and Karl Hubert Gasser at the Vinova fair in Vienna. Then the idea arose to make your own brandies . Reisebauer planned his own distillery, which was installed and put into operation on September 16, 1994 by Christian Carl from Göppingen.
In 2009 the design of the Reisebauer brand was changed. From this point on, the basic colors were black and white and the logo of Reisebauer quality brand "R" in the white circle. In addition, an own-form bottle with a solid glass base and a Stelvin Deluxe closure was developed.
After a ten-month construction period, the new company building with the distillery and office was opened in May 2012.
Today, the fine brandies from Reisebauer are exported to over 10 countries, above all to Germany, Great Britain, Russia, Switzerland, Mexico, the Netherlands and the USA.
Products
Most of the fruits for the Reisebauer brandies grow in their own orchards. In total there are over 11,000 pear trees, 7,000 apple trees, plums, quince and rowan trees. During the harvest, the ripened fruits are picked in several passes.
In addition to the classic brandies such as apple, Williams or plum brandy, raspberry, currant, quince, rowanberry, blackthorn , sour cherry, wild cherry and a few other fruits are processed into distillates. Specialties from Reisebauer are the fine brandies made from carrot, ginger and service tree .
The Reisebauer range also includes single malt whiskeys , apple and pear juices, the sparkling apple wine reisbauer brut 2011 Méthode traditional and the emerald brandy Grüner Veltliner brandy .
