The Rectors' Conference of the German Music Universities is the amalgamation of 24 music universities in Germany .

The Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Music organizes two music competitions with high impact in national and international musical life: a university competition and the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Prize .
