Reläxx was a weekly children's and youth magazine that was first broadcast on KiKA from 1997 to 2008 . Between 1997 and 2006 it was produced by UFA Entertainment GmbH and since 2007 by vision X Film- und Fernsehproduktion GmbH on behalf of rbb .

    The broadcast

Reläxx was a leisure magazine for children and young people. Each program lasted 20 minutes (previously 15 minutes) and had a specific focus. The range of topics was very extensive, with background reports , for example from festivals such as the Berlinale , portraits of young actors and reports on special sports. In addition to "Fänn courses" and "Äxxclusiv" contributions, there were also regularly the two somewhat idiosyncratic people Professor Dr. Marcowitsch (played by Langebeck himself) and MC Matzke (played by Kathrin Freihube, née Matzke, who already appeared in the role of this character she developed in 1993 in the last programs of the youth program Elf 99 ), who loosen up the show with comedy .

Since the 500th broadcast in September 2007, the trend magazine has had a new design and a 16: 9 wide screen format . The Frankie Goes To Hollywood title song Relax was also replaced by Mikas Relax, Take It Easy . A Labrador girl named Mäxx has been in the studio since the relaunch . The program has not been broadcast since 2009.

    Awards

The show received the Golden Sparrow four times . Reläxx was named the best entertainment program at the 2008 Golden Spatz. In 1999 the show received the award in the entertainment category. In the same year Karsten Blumenthal received the special award for special individual achievement / innovation as well as the moderator award. He was awarded this again in 2001.
