Karsten Blumenthal (* 24. May 1968 in Stralsund ) is a German television presenter , actor and director .

Life

After graduating from high school, Karsten Blumenthal studied German and history as a teacher at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University in Greifswald and dropped out early.

From 1989 to 1996 Karsten Blumenthal was editor and presenter at the radio station DT64 and later at MDR Sputnik . Since 1991 he has hosted the comedy show Dr. Kaos , which was regarded as a cult program, especially in eastern Germany, and later, from 1995 to 1998, the ORB Club . From 1997 to 2004, Blumenthal moderated the formats Aktiv-Boxx (1997-2001), Kikania (2001-2004) and KIKA Live (2004) at KiKA and from 1997 to 2001 the trend and leisure magazine for young people ReläXX .
