from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rembert von Hildesheim († February 12, 844 at the latest), also Reinbert, was from around 834/835 to 844 second bishop of the diocese of Hildesheim founded by Ludwig the Pious in 815 .

Of all Hildesheim bishops, little is known about his pontificate. The year of his death is not known. The necrological tradition consistently records February 12th as the day of death.
